This is way cool. I wrote a new story recently and the setting is very similar to this. Perfect reference here for when/if the time comes to draw it. So beautiful. I love the way nature reclaims land when we abandon it.  -AM

The Kawaminami Shipyard in the Imari Harbour in the Saga prefecture of Japan. It was originally a glass factory that processed raw materials brought in from the Middle East by boat. Sometime during the Second Sino - Japanese War it was converted to a ship building industrial site and then to an ammunition creating site.

Inspired by Anita Sarkeesian’s Video Game Tropes vs Women, I wanted to pitch a Zelda game where Zelda herself was the hero, rescuing a Prince Link.

Clockwork Empire is set 2,000 years after Twilight Princess, and is not a reboot, but simply another iteration in the Zelda franchise. It just so happens that in this case, Zelda is the protagonist. I’m a very big Zelda fan, and worked hard to draw from key elements in the continuity and mythos.

This concept work is meant to show that Zelda as a game protagonist can be both compelling and true to the franchise, while bringing new and dynamic game elements that go farther than being a simple gender swap.

Hope you like it!

shut up and take my money!

seriously, I love this concept, give it to me

This is cool!

I parked beside Norris and was putting money in the meter and noticed these two sketch guys walking through the Norris parking lot. Ignored it until one literally grabbed my arm and started to drag me away babbling on about something. Asked what they were doing and get “naw come with us girl naw”…

Keep an eye out friends! Don’t be afraid to call for help or call the police. Remember that there is a shelter in this area as well as numerous back alleys and other such areas, be aware of your surroundings!

About A Calendar of Tales
(sorry in advance for my english)
My son Joachim (10 years old) was intrigued on my drawings for the contest. I explained to him what the contest was, and who wrote the tales. He knows perfectly who Neil Gaiman is, he saw Coraline and I should be damned if I hadn’t read “The Wolves in the Walls” a thousand times to him when he was a little younger. “The wolves” is one of our absolute favourites books ever (it’s funny because the french version of the book is published by one of MY publishers, Delcourt ^^). When a situation is bad or desperate, we took the habit to say “tout est fini, les loups sont sortis des murs” (if the wolves come out of the walls, it’s all over), like in the book. ^^

So I explained briefly what each tale was about. About May, I even shown him 2 different videos made by other participants (very impressive). I translated the monologue for him. I don’t know why, but the May tale TERRIFIED him at first.
He thought it was impossible and awful that things appear like that in a house. I answered  him: but I told you about the October tale too, the one with the genie. It’s impossible as well, however this one didn’t scare you? Besides, these are only letters and notes, even if they appear, they don’t do any harm. But, he said, it’s SO WEIRD!! It was very hard to make him understand he doesn’t have to be afraid, I think it was because the story has no explanation (which is one of the main interests!), while the genie in the October tale is a FACT. ^^
The next day his father decided to make a joke and put in his bedroom’s wall a paper where it was written “things will be back to normal soon” in french (see photo). Jo was surprised when he go back to his room, but he also have a sense of humor and laughed and laughed.
Since then we found several strange notes in the apartment, (written in french with a child writing) and also 3 books in a box. Yesterday evening I found next to my bed a note in an envelope with an alarming message about the situation of my uncle. I have salad in the fridge, but where can I find a pink flower please? …

BEST CALENDAR OF TALES MOMENT EVER.

HEY guys, you’ve seen this floating around out there, especially from me, but the preview images have been a little pixel-y, and I figured that might be why the Playlist Anthology hasn’t reached its goal yet! Check out this amazing artwork, I’m not even sure how the world has not swamped this with piles and piles of money.

Look at that, is that Jorge Corona?! You know he just did a Batman book, right?

And Morgan Beem? That girl does amazing things AS HER WARMUP SKETCHES. Also, she contributes to a gorram fashion blog, because she decided one day that the world was not Morgan-y enough, and she was right!

SPEAKING of that fashion blog, you know who else contributes there? The sweet holy damn ineffable JEN HICKMAN. (I know, it’s cool, catch your breath.) Who has such a hold on color that her burly viking ancestors cowered in fear of it years ago and didn’t even know it!

My god, I could go on! Eryk Donovan? Incredible. You can’t touch his perspective work with a stick because that stick would COME ALIVE AND RULE THE HEAVENS.

Ian McGinty?! Dude blows my mind ON THE REGULAR. If you like animated things, you like Ian and you don’t even KNOW it yet.

Michael Lee Harris? WHAT. That guy pumps out pages like you’ve only dreamed about! He’s drawing Black Hitler! You only wish you had that comic in your hands right now!

You think I’m talking in hyperbole. I know. You’re all “there can not be this much talent in one book, the world would implode!” Well get your gas lanterns and cans of beans ready, because the art apocalypse is coming and you can HELP IT HAPPEN!

Josie Grant! Justine Ives! Jackie Roche! I can’t.. there is too much here for me to NOT explode at! Playlist is going to be incredible! So go check it out! And if, as I’m assuming, you have already hurled your life savings into the ever-burning embers of this MASSIVE TALENT ENCLAVE, show it to your friends so they can devote their lives to owning this book!

Woooooorth iiiiiiiiiiit D8<
